Fort Night

Rising then falling
Into the endless
Pointing outward
Believing what never goes anywhereLike a dog aware of table scraps
Inbred hope
From were I began
Ignoring the rules knowinglyRelentlessly suppressed
Within my full days dream
Walking through a vestibule
Surrounded by illusionary lightNight finally falls
The faithful time keeper
Without emotion or judgment
Weighs my wasted day
