Poem - August/September 2004

Loneliness

– © 2004 Daniel Farris Braun

The complex fixation-complex of an old and young fixed gentle someone
is so simply loving an image
...in his-her mind.

That picture in a magazine (or many) gave that image to him-her from reasons
vague and immaterial... of solitude...
Our eyes, not seeing the fixation, cannot see our OURNESS...
THERE...
but IT is THERE,
beyond the disjunctive assembly of loneliness
...of these LIVING-BEINGS without,
of any LIVING-BEING trapped in images.
