Rescuing Little Roundhead is both a heart wrenching and heart warming story about Roundhead's (Syl Jones) growing up as an African American child who was raped and then ridiculed by his peers. It is a story of maintaining one's dreams in the face of adversity with the love, support and encouragement of a few important people. He is a powerful example of the conference theme, "Recognizing Strength and Resilience."
