Monthly Men's Sunday Morning Brunches (bring something to share/cook up) continue to be an enjoyable time for men to hang out together and enjoy good food with no agenda whatsoever. Next brunches: Sunday, June 18 (Father's Day--children welcome) at Jim Lovestar's, 2626 Upton Ave N, Minneapolis (just east of Victory Memorial Parkway), 612/588-8984, and Sunday, July 16 at Frank Brandon's, 975 E. You’re invited to help answer questions about Men's Health. How do men age? A research study across the US will investigate Osteoporotic Fractures in Men (called Mr.OS) and involves 6 University medical centers, including the University of Minnesota, 612/625-8022. The goal is to involve 6000 men in the study: to see if you can qualify for the study, you will go to the U of M for a no-cost clinic visit for Muscle Strength and Bone Density Measurements, Spine X-rays, and Nutritional Evaluation. The Program in Human Sexuality, University of Minnesota has created a low-cost, 2-day workshop June 16 & 17 entitled, 7 Things I Hate About Sex to give recovering couples or individuals of any sexual orientation a safe setting to receive accurate information, process needs and concerns, and talk about questions and fears regarding healthy sexual expression and intimacy. New Moon Circle - an intentional gathering of women and men meets monthly on the Friday closest to the New Moon: June 2, June 30, July 28, Aug. 25, Sept. 29, Oct. 27, Nov. 24 and December 22. Dinner at 6:30 (bring a potluck item to share), or 7:30 for the Circle only. Bring a $5.00 contribution for the Circle.
