The Mens Centers high visibility created an excellent impression at this years Pride Festival held on June 24th & 25th weekend, attended by thousands. Thanks to our members and friends who made this good impression. Special recognition to those who assisted with the booth: Drake from the Twenty Something group, Josh & Bob a Tuesday night facilitator. The parade unit consisted of a truck show vehicle which got all the parade viewers attention. The truck had the Mens Center sign mounted on top of the cab and decked out with red fringe and flags. The Twenty Something group sponsored the tossing of candy by Drake to parade viewers. Thanks! Drake. We had 200 watts of powered music piped out, supplied by Wide Angel Records of 42nd & Nicollet Ave. The owner of the show truck, Richard M. who made this all possible. Thanks! Our photographer Jim from Northfield took photo shots of the booth and parade unit. Thanks! -- Booth attendant and parade rider, Jerry Olson. |
